Tauphaus Park Zoo

My sister Mary and her kids are visiting from southern Utah. Ben is doing a 50 miler with the scouts. We went to the Tauphaus Park Zoo yesterday. Bryson loves playing with Adam. He wants to be a big kid just like cousin Adam. Lydia is growing up she pushed Bryson in the stroller. Gracie loves playing with baby Jessica. Mary couldn't believe how good Jessica was the whole time. She's a really good natured baby. The zoo was lots of fun! We also celebrated Grandpa Max's Birthday. He turned 83!!! I wasn't thinking and didn't take pictures. Happy Birthday Grandpa Max! Well, this weekend we're going to Island Park to stay at a cabin. Look for some fun pictures next week.

Big Elk

This last weekend we went camping to Big Elk. We got to spend the night in Grant's camper. Thanks Grant!! It was fun and check out the fish we caught! Six total! Bryson loved being Tanners shadow and playing with Sunny (Keith's Dog). Jessica had a great first camping trip. Bryan finally caught a fish.. two to boot!!! I also caught a big one on Grant's pole, sorry Grant it should've been yours!? We had a really good time. Check it out I made a video with the pictures!

Father's Day!

It was so much fun!! Bryson and I made Bryan a tie while he was at Bishop's meeting that he has every Sunday. Bryson put his hand in red paint and made a hand print. For Jessica we just traced around her hand. Bryan was a really good sport he proudly wore it all during church..Bryson kept saying funny!? We used the rest of our Christmas gift cards and Bryan got a red Zune. He loves it....so do I!!

We went down to Idaho Falls and we had Grant's famous out of this world ribs! And I made Bryan's dad Keith the hostess cupcake cake. We got Keith a pitching wedge for father's day. We got my step-dad Max a fishing pole to play with Copper the dog. Bryson got one for his birthday and Copper loved it.

Father's are amazing!!I love Bryan and he is the greatest Dad!! Bryan, Max, and Keith happy father's day!!!

Bryan's Brother Tyler and his wife Tracy had a baby girl!!! Five months to the day after Jessica was born. We're so excited!!! She is adorable and looks just like a doll!! Look at all that hair!! We're happy that Jessica will have a cousin to play with that will be in the same grade in school.

Congratulations Tyler and Tracy!!!!!

Hostess “Cupcake”
CakeDevils food cake mix
½ c. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
White frosting
½ c. cocoa
3 2/3 c. powder sugar
For Cake: Follow directions on box and bake in 2 round cake pans. Let cool.Place 1 cake on plate and frost only the top with white frosting then place second cake on top.
Fudge frosting: Combine butter, milk and sugar in microwave safe bowl and microwave until boiling. Stir once each minute. Add cocoa and vanilla and mix until smooth.Pour over cake and allow to drip over the sides of the cake. If you want use white frosting and create loops on top.

I'm on the relief society enrichment committee for my ward. I put together a recipe exchange girls night. It was a blast and we're already planning the next one!! All the girls brought their recipe to share and their recipe on a card. So we got to enjoy the recipes and just talked about ideas for meals. I made these centerpieces for the tables. They are so cute and were so easy. I put gobstoppers candy inside the glasses and glued the flower to the outside of the glass and put the stem inside. Then put the bow on the outside. Everyone thought they were cute and now I use one for a centerpiece on my table! My favorite recipe of the night was Amber's "Hostess Cupcake". I love chocolate so this recipe won hands down in my book. Delicious!!!

Bryson turned TWO!!

I can't believe our cute little baby boy now little man turned two. I love doing the whole birthday party thing. Some of you remember last year for his party I did a John Deere tractor theme because his favorite book was a big tractor book. I got some pictures from last year and can't believe how much he has grown. It's really fun to reflect on the changes he's had over the last year.

We held his party on Saturday May 10 because his birthday this year fell on a Monday May 12.

This year I was going to do a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme but, I couldn't find a lot of party items. So we changed it to his next love football or in his words "atball". I used one of the temptation pans I gave my mom for Christmas for the football on top. It was the perfect shape. We then did a rectangle pan for the football field underneath. Of course we did a Broncos cake because at two he already knows the Broncos logo. He got way too many presents. So I'll just list a few. We got him a cars race track which he thinks is fun. He likes the gazillion bubble machine that we got the most. Thanks to everyone who came and to Lionel and Kesti for letting us do the party in their back yard.

Jessica got a new toy last week. It's an exersaucer and can you tell she loves it! She loves eating the cake the most! The tea pot is musical and she enjoys that too!

Bryson loves playing in it too. He sure thinks it's cool! Who says a boy can't be cool in pink?

I am so grateful for our church leaders and their guidance. This last general conference we sustained the new prophet President Monson. He holds a special place in my heart. All growing up I loved his stories, his kind heart, and most of all his testimony of living the gospel. I will miss President Hinckley, but I can think of nobody better to serve in his place. I can't wait to hear and most of all follow his council.

Here's some pictures of Jessica's blessing that was on Sunday March 2nd. Grandma Vicki and Aunt Becky made her dress. I made her headband. She looked amazing and we loved having so many family come and attend. Grandma Drollinger helped a ton with the dinner. I don't know what I'd do without my Mom!!! I didn't get half the family pictures I wish I had. A lot of my family left early and many were in a hurry to leave so many pictures weren't taken. We had dinner at Dad's house afterwards. It was a lot of fun! We missed all that were unable to come. Looking forward to the next get together with everyone.
